How to Transfer Your Cosmetology License from Other Country?

Are you a cosmetologist from other country? 
Looking to transfer Cosmetology License from Other Country to US?

If you have a cosmetology license from India or any other country then you can transfer the license to any state in US (United States). Few States in US will require an Exam and few other States do not require any examination.

New Jersey does not require Exam for Cosmetology License in US; some proper documentation can get You Cosmetology License in New Jersey.

Waxing License can also be transferred from Your Country to New York. New York requires Waxing License to practice Eyebrow Threading.

Does US allow Transfer of Existing License from Other Country?

YES/NO

Yes, you can transfer existing license from other country to US. You have to submit all the documents as required with the help of a consultant.

Some States do require experience letters/certificates and an examination to get Cosmetology License. Some States require you to submit proper documentation of certification or course from your school or college in your country.

Requirements for Cosmetology License for all 50 States in US – 954-243-8549

To Practice Hair, Skin and Nails you need to have Cosmetology License. Cosmetology License the license you require to practice Hair, Skin and Nails professionally. To practice Threading, you need Cosmetology License. To practice Facials, you require Skin care License.

Some States need Eyebrow Threading License and some States need Certification Course to perform Eyebrow Threading.

The requirements and eligibility to apply for Cosmetology License are –
  • 12th Grade Pass
  • 16 Years and Above
  • Social Security Number
  • Experience from Your Country (some states require)
  • License or Certification from Your Country
