Eyebrow Threading Tips and Notes ·       Contraindications:    If the client is using Retin-A, do not put too much pressure on the skin with thread.   Retin-A makes the skin very sensitive.  Wax is not to be used on the areas where they use Retin-A.         Use ice with low pressure to sooth the area. Even ice could burn the skin. Some redness of the skinafter the treatment it is normal.  Remove e ven small hairs gently. If rash occurs: After threading procedure, some clients may complain of rash due to the thread being rubbed on the skin over and over again. If any bacteria gets into that area, it could cause a break out (rash). In order to avoid it in the future you should use Ozone to prevent the rash. Ozone disinfects the skin where you perform the threading.
