Out of country Applicants for Skin Care and Cosmetology. Contact 954-243-8549.

In the U.S. every state has a different set of rules. Some states accept credentials from other countries. Some countries have state licensing similar to Dubai, Europe, and the U.K.  Asian countries like Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq do not have state licensing. The students usually learn from local parlors for skin and hair care. The curriculum they learn is similar to what is taught in the U.S.A. According to my knowledge most of the schools are following the U.S.A curriculum and also what is recommended in skin care literature. What you need to do is prove that what you learned in your respective board of education matches the requirements for the state in which you apply for a license.
Some states require an evaluation by organizations while other states like Maryland require a notarized affidavit (signed by a notary public with seal) indicating proper information as to any time served as an apprentice while in school or after school.

The state of Texas requires an evaluation form ECE.ORG.  Indiana does not require a license to practice Threading. (Always check with your local board of cosmetology to find out if you need a license to perform threading).  If you are trained for facials, waxing and body treatments then get all the appropriate licenses, so that you can perform other services which enable you to earn more.

  1. I do know that each state has a set of required hours for one to be licensed on their respective profession, for example the Illinois state requires 14 hours of continuing education for one to keep their Cosmetology License Illinois other requirements may vary per state. Having said that having your cosmetologist with the correct training makes me more comfortable as a consumer.

  2. Yes. It is consumer's responsibility to check is the Technician licensed or not.

  3. It has been really good since cosmetology continuing education courses has been offered online. People wouldn't have to give too much effort to get the education they need like having to look for a school, paying for high tuition fee and having to go to a scheduled class.

Eyebrow Threading License in U.S. -954-243-8549.

Perform eyebrow threading and increase your revenue! Most threading salons perform on 40 to 60 people per day.  This is a 15 minute service. You can generate a good customer base. All skin care technicians can learn to perform threading. Licensing requirements differ by state. You can call me to learn if your state requires a license, or you can call your local Cosmetology board. The states that require licensing generally mandate that all technicians possess a skin care license in order to practice threading.  Working under another licensed technician is generally not enough. Each individual technician needs to have one if they are touching the client and performing treatment.  Even if the salon owner says a license is not required, call your state's Board of Cosmetology and find out if one is required. Make sure you have a license to practice and a work permit (if applicable). All salons have additional legal requirements such as proper insurance, hygiene certification a

Why Eyebrow threading is perfect for you? Especially when you hate waxing .

Hate to feel the stingy pain that waxing leaves behind? Then Eyebrow threading is the perfect solution for you. It can be used to remove stray hairs around your eyebrows and shape them ideally. Originally from the middle east, it has become the most preferred method of removing hair throughout the world in recent years. It’s the number one method for hair removal, and here’s why: 1. Minimal Chemicals – Eyebrow threading requires just two tools; one is the cotton thread and another is a skilful hand. There is hence no risk of you being exposed to any allergic reaction. Eyebrow threading is literally a bane for people with sensitive skin as they get to experience the wonderful results without the constant worry of catching allergies. 2. Comparatively less pain – As opposed to popular beliefs, waxing and plucking are much more painful than eyebrow threading. In eyebrow threading , the cotton thread only touches your hair and never the skin during the process. Your skin is
